Mystery signal invading the frequency of a navigation beacon

Many of you have been asking about the “Mystery” signal. Fear not, as it is alive and well and can be heard every night around midnight ET. You can find it lurking between 4700-4800 kHz. Here it is invading the frequency of a navigational beacon. I was using my SDR PLAY and SDR CONSOLE software with my OCF dipole.

Captured this using my SDR Play and SDR Console V 2.3. Got an opportunity to play with the DSP a bit, which helped to clean up the audio on this transmission.

CHU Canada Time Station- 7.850 USB

This is CHU Canada on 7.850Mhz USB The first is the Panadapter view. Below is a spectrum view displaying the 2.0Khz second “chirp” followed by the 1Khz second “tick”.
